Supply Chain Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsibilities concerning operational safety, fire prevention, and environmental stewardship:
• Rigorously adhere to national safety regulations and the company’s operational safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-operation safety assessments to ensure a secure working environment.
• Enforce safety measures during the loading and unloading processes within the warehouse to guarantee the secure handling of goods.
• Ensure compliance with forklift operation safety protocols by contractors, excluding operations conducted by the production team.
• Immediately halt any unsafe practices and report to the supervisor.
• Perform on-site inspections in the warehouse to identify and report any hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Familiarize oneself with the SHE policies of the Group and the Company.
2. Warehouse Oversight:
This role involves ensuring that the warehouse conditions, equipment, and signage consistently meet regulatory standards.
• Maintain optimal warehouse environmental conditions.
• Engage in 5S, OCS, AScare, and PGI related initiatives.
• Regularly assess all aspects of the warehouse, including structural integrity, lighting, fire safety equipment, and compliance with logistics standards, promptly addressing any issues.
• Conduct daily inspections of both raw material and finished goods warehouses to ensure operational efficiency and mitigate weather-related impacts.
3. Inventory Control:
Ensure that all materials are stored in an orderly manner, maintaining their integrity and accurate quantities.
• Implement strict internal controls within the warehouse to safeguard raw materials and finished products.
• Conduct timely and regular stock audits.
• Provide weekly updates on inventory status and report any discrepancies.
• Ensure that all materials are in good condition and well-organized.
• Responsible for physical inventory checks to ensure alignment between records and actual stock.
• Address monthly inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain product inventory at designated levels.
• Understand and apply the MSDS for each raw material to ensure appropriate storage conditions.
• Create a raw material ledger to track storage locations, receipt dates, production dates, and expiration dates, managing near-expiry materials according to established procedures.
• Regularly clear out finished products older than three months and manage recycling of materials and scrap items.
• Oversee the management of recyclable packaging materials within the facility.
• Familiarize oneself with YMS and WMS, and be prepared to learn these systems as necessary.
• Analyze logistics processes and performance metrics to identify areas for enhancement and implement solutions to boost efficiency.
Qualifications for Success:
• Education & Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
• Proficient in English across listening, speaking, reading, and writing (CET Band 4 or higher, BEC Preliminary Level or higher).
• Over 5 years of experience in logistics (or less experience with a higher educational background).
• Technical Skills:
Strong safety awareness and knowledge of relevant regulations.
Familiarity with warehouse and transportation laws.
Proficient in computer applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
Experience with SAP or major ERP systems is advantageous.
