The Country Care HR Consultant will play a key role in driving operational excellence and compliance in our in-country HR operations. This role will partner with HRBP's of business division, Centers of Excellence, shared services, Payroll, Solutions (IT), and Finance to ensure Pearson's competitiveness and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee HR operations in country to ensure maximum value of services across the employee lifecycle.
- Provide expertise support in HR compliance and maintain positive relationships with global Country Care members.
- Identify gaps and work on process improvement portfolio to provide an exceptional experience through innovation, simplification, and digitization.
- Ensure all HR mandatory compliance requirements are in place satisfying local legislation and regulation.
- Maintain and partner locally with in-country HR vendors and Global HR COEs to ensure employees and leaders receive proper support.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in HR operations, with significant local experience in Employee Relations, Benefits, and Compliance matters.
- Global mindset and cultural awareness to navigate across local and global teams with same level of influence and acceptance.
- Natural ability to discern, organize, and convey complex problems and solutions.
