DevOps Strategist

About this role:

KCC KONE Elevators Co. Ltd is seeking a seasoned DevOps Manager to join our team. As a DevOps Manager, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the vision of proactive operations and technical excellence in operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and develop the operations team through technical leadership
• Contribute hands-on in the transformation, development, and establishment of DevOps engineering practices within the organization
• Work in close collaboration with the global and other local DevOps units to streamline, standardize, and enhance the DevOps practices and processes
• With your team, contribute directly to the high availability and operational efficiency of the solutions by pushing continuous improvements in application/infrastructure monitoring
• Support your team in their pursuit to constantly upskill in application and infrastructure knowledge
• Provide continuous visibility of the operational efficiency to the management and stakeholders through building and orchestrating automated data collection and dashboards for metrics

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in technical operation roles in complex projects/solutions
• Good understanding and hands-on experience in popular PaaS/IaaS/SaaS services in public cloud vendors like AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or Google Cloud
• Setting up and managing CI/CD toolchains in large projects
• Using infrastructure-as-code toolchains in large projects
• Setting up or configuring modern monitoring tools
• Prior experience in working on large-scale production systems in operations context
• Familiarity with agile principles and methodologies
• Prior experience in software development will be a plus
• Prior experience in leading teams will be a plus
