Role Overview
The Facilities Engineer will assist the Director of Engineering in overseeing the daily operations of the Engineering Department. This includes maintaining all equipment, buildings, and grounds to ensure they are in optimal condition and providing necessary services to support other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Engineering in managing the Engineering Department's operations.
- Ensure that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide essential engineering services.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs and manage special projects as needed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management. Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and special projects is highly desirable. Technical expertise in systems such as air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, fire safety systems, and hydraulics will be considered an advantage.
