Graphics Performance Team

NVIDIA's Graphics Performance Team is responsible for delivering efficient and powerful graphics architecture every generation. The team studies graphics workloads and tests innovative HW/SW solutions on various platforms to address inefficiencies in the current architecture.

Our work paves the path for real-time rendering of complex and compute-intensive visualization techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and study state-of-the-art real-time rendering techniques and their implementation on GPU to identify performance issues.
  • Study D3D12, DX Machine Learning, DX, and Vulkan APIs and their impact on GPU.
  • Propose ideas to improve GPU architecture based on quantitative studies of existing and projected architectures.
  • Develop performance simulation models and simulation infrastructure.
  • Design performance test plans and tests for new graphics units and architectural features.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of computer science, with a focus on computer graphics and/or computer architecture.
  • Strong interest in GPU graphics architecture and real-time rendering technologies.
  • Good mastery of C++ language and practical C/C++ development experience.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Good understanding of state-of-the-art rendering techniques and their usage of GPU.
  • Experience in performance modeling, profiling, and analysis is a plus.
