Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Translation and Localization Specialist. In this role, you will assist in the daily operations of the language production and delivery teams, with a focus on streamlining and automating processes where possible. You will also document procedures related to the production, delivery, and maintenance of language services, and contribute to the design and maintenance of the team's SharePoint pages content.
Responsibilities- Assist in the daily operations of the language production and delivery teams
- Document procedures related to the production, delivery, and maintenance of language services
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of the team's SharePoint pages content
- Monitor and process queries reported through the central repository system by SAP language suppliers worldwide
- Learn to monitor and process network connectivity and provide backup support
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Translation Studies, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- Business level oral and written communication skills in English
- Good MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Presence of at least 4 days per week in office needed, preferably Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Team work spirit
- Fast learner and strong customer centric attitude
- Have high sense of responsibility and be detail oriented
- Agile, self-driven with a knack for problem-solving and independent research
- Excellent self-organization skills, able to complete daily tasks without reminders
- Experience on SDL Trados Studio is a plus
- Experience on Simplified Chinese translation and quality review is a plus
