ADAS System Engineer

At Ford Motor Company, we are seeking a highly skilled ADAS System Engineer to join our team in the field of Automated Driving. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting research and developmental efforts in advanced driver assistance systems, ranging from semi-autonomous to fully autonomous driving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement system and function requirement-based system modeling language
- Design and test ADAS systems, including sensor hardware, data acquisition, and analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects from inception to completion
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, including LIDAR, radar, electro-optical sensors, GPS, and IMUs
Requirements
- MS/BS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Data Engineering, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in ADAS system engineering, modeling, simulation testing, or algorithm development
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn new technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SysML-based system engineering tools
- Experience with presenting results to internal management and external venues
- Experience working with internal and external partners, including corporations, universities, and automotive suppliers
