Automation Expert

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Expert to join our team at adidas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our business processes through the development and maintenance of automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand process requirements and contribute to the full lifecycle of automation projects.
• Support senior developers in designing and architecting scalable automation solutions.
• Develop, implement, and test solutions in alignment with enterprise system and security requirements.
• Utilize various technologies to create effective end-to-end process automated solutions.
• Maintain best practices in coding, testing, and deployment strategies under senior guidance.
• Contribute to creating and maintaining technical documentation, including process design documents, solution architecture, and test scripts.
• Participate in technical reviews, code walkthroughs, and ensure best practices are maintained.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure successful deployment and operational integration of automation solutions.
• Assist in monitoring the performance of automation systems and contribute to improvement initiatives.
• Engage in operational support tasks, addressing and resolving issues within the automation portfolio.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automation technologies and tools, proactively recommending improvements to enhance the automation capabilities of the team.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with UiPath and MS Power Platforms (Power Automate Cloud Flow, Power Apps).
• Experience with coding languages like Python or C#.
• Familiarity with system integration through REST APIs.
• Experience with database technologies and query languages like SQL.
• Awareness of OCR technologies and document processing.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of software design principles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality automation solutions.

What We Offer:

• An estimated annual salary of $85,000 - $110,000, depending on location and experience.
