We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Group China Ltd. in Shanghai, China. As a key member of our Research and Development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing next-generation parking systems with active safety features for the China market.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop parking systems with active safety features for the China market, working closely with RD teams in Head Quarter and suppliers.
- Evaluate and clarify use cases for China situations and assess adaptations needed.
- Understand Mercedes-Benz Automated Parking strategy and technology.
- Work together with internal partners to collect and prepare relevant information describing China specifications and design next-generation automated parking systems.
- Track CN regulations and ratings needs and adapt product offerings where necessary, validating and documenting results.
- Develop and execute acceptance test plans in alignment with overall product module strategy planning.
- Continuously engage with RD teams in Head Quarters to understand overall product strategy.
- Create and share China-specific inputs for product development activities.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Vehicle Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering.
- Fluent English language skills, German language beneficial.
- Experience in vehicle Intelligent Driving System-related fields like Driving, Active Safety, or Parking function preferred.
- Knowledge in EE components (USS, camera, radar, lidar), architecture design, automotive bus systems, and familiar with diagnostic tools.
- Self-responsible working attitude and initiative.
- Strong multi-tasking ability.
