About the Role

Siemens Energy is seeking a skilled Vibration Testing Engineer to join our team in Shanghai, China. As a key member of our Grid Technologies Business Unit, you will be responsible for leading the operation, maintenance, and calibration of our hydraulic vibration testing system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and develop tests such as shock test, random vibration test, and sinusoidal vibration tests in accordance with GB/T or IEC standards.
  • Design and implement test tools and assess risks related to EHS before and during tests.
  • Perform mechanical tests on vibration test systems, including bending tests for housing or bushing, strength verification tests for insulating parts, and fatigue tests for key components.
  • Analyze test results and prepare test reports as required.
  • Provide technical support to other departments for vibration tests or onsite issues related to vibration requirements.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in engineering, such as mechanics, mechanical design, or manufacturing.
  • Good knowledge of vibration theory and experience performing vibration tests in accordance with related standards.
  • Familiarity with data processing and analysis, and ability to provide optimized suggestions based on test results.
  • Ability to select and design measurement equipment and create measurement programs as required.
  • Hands-on skills, such as installing test tools.
  • Ability to learn independently, work in a team, and communicate effectively in English.
