About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Phillips-Medisize. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions that meet those needs.
  2. Design software or customize software for customer use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
  3. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
  4. Translate URS (User Requirement Specification) into application functions.
  5. Write, develop, and modify applications to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  6. Design, develop, and maintain code that is efficient, reliable, and reusable.
  7. Support the application testing on function, performance, and reliability.
  8. Provide application go-live support, troubleshoot and resolve bugs and errors.
  9. Integrate data storage solutions.
  10. Create and maintain documentation as required.
  11. Research new methods to meet applications requirements.
  12. Other duties as assigned.
  13. Follow EHS related laws, regulations and company's EHS related management regulations, timely report potential risk, and propose safety improvement suggestions; For management position, be responsible for EHS management of the department/team.

Requirements

  • Understanding of algebra level mathematics.
  • Understanding of probability and statistics.
  • Capable of Agile development.
  • Have the capability of Object-oriented programming, be familiar with programming patterns, and skilled in writing reusable libraries, have extensive experience in C# and .NET development.
  • Familiar with database technology (e.g., SQL Server, Postgresql, etc.), familiar with database design, query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Familiar with basic network communication principles and development debugging.
  • Have manufacturing industry related knowledge of specific technologies, standards, and software (e.g. OPC UA, Kepware, Ignition, etc.).
  • Have knowledge of commonly used IOT related communication protocols and network technologies (e.g. MQTT, LoRa, etc.).
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Capable of English skills, CET 4 or above.
