Finance (FIN) Overview
The Global Finance division is dedicated to delivering HSBC with a professional, efficient, and responsive financial service that operates at optimal cost while employing a consistent and transparent global framework.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute to our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the redesign of all FIN End User Computing (EUC) for the Project across Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Design Document (FDD), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Migration, and Parallel Run phases;
  • Verify the accounting entries related to the Project during BRD, FDD, UAT, Migration, and Parallel Run;
  • Ensure the accuracy of data feeding into all FIN ecosystems and reports associated with the Project throughout the various phases;
  • Support Production Data Migration through pre-migration checks, health assessments on migration day, and post-migration validations;
  • Provide assistance for daily operations during the Project's Parallel Run Phase within the Financial Control Department;
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required;
  • This is a fixed-term role for a duration of 20 months.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A background in IT or Accounting is preferred;
  • Ability to work effectively in an English-speaking environment;
  • Strong commitment to achieving team objectives under pressure;
  • Proficient understanding of computer systems, with sufficient knowledge of Excel;
  • A quick learner with a keen attention to detail, results-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
