We are seeking a highly skilled Drama Educator to join our team at a Bilingual School in Shenzhen. This is a full-time position starting in August 2024.

About the school

Our school is a bilingual institution based in Shenzhen's Nanshan district, offering immersive bilingual education. We integrate two independent yet complementary educational philosophies, providing students with a well-rounded education.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide a comprehensive drama education to primary and middle school students (Grade 1 to Grade 7) in an IB framework
  • Prepare engaging lessons and lectures, develop tutoring techniques, design and correct assessments, and write report comments
  • Collaborate with fellow co-teachers to enhance and refine the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing targets to ensure all learners can succeed and improve
  • Perform other related duties assigned by the school

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree
  • Past teaching experience in the relevant subject
  • Willingness or demonstrated track record in learning and practicing new pedagogy

Salary and benefits

  • Monthly Salary of 20,000 to 30,000 RMB after tax, commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • 8,000 to 10,000 RMB Housing allowance
