Job Title: Head of School

LumosCareer is seeking a visionary and experienced Head of School to lead our institution in providing a world-class education to our students. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving academic excellence, fostering a positive school culture, and ensuring the overall success of our school community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Faculty and Staff Management: Develop and implement effective strategies for faculty and staff management, including setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and evaluating performance. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement among staff.
  • Curriculum Oversight: Ensure that our curriculum aligns with the IB framework and meets the needs of our students. Collaborate with teachers and coordinators to integrate the latest educational research and pedagogical advancements.
  • Student Support Services: Coordinate student support services that cater to the diverse needs of our students, including counseling, academic support, and mentoring. Ensure that these services promote a positive and inclusive school environment.
  • Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with local and global community partners to enhance educational opportunities and integrate community resources into our learning experience.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning with our leadership team and ensure the effective implementation of our school's vision and goals.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field.
  • Administrative experience in an IB World School, preferably in a PYP environment.
  • Proven track record of successful school leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commitment to inclusive education and diversity.
