We are seeking an accomplished General Science and Chemistry teacher to join our high school faculty in the Science department.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective unit plans, engaging learning experiences, and assessment strategies aligned with our curriculum and assessment guidelines. This role involves mentoring, contributing to extracurricular activities, and participating in school development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Skills in working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds
  • Experience with inquiry-based and concept-driven approaches
  • Creativity, resilience, and a love of diversity

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience as a full-time Science teacher in a classroom setting
  • Experience teaching IB MYP and/or IB DP
  • Diverse students from various cultural and educational backgrounds, including those with EAL, learning support, and enrichment needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Recognized teaching qualification and/or registration
  • Completed IB MYP and/or IB DP workshop
