What You'll Do

We are looking for software developers with strong programming skills and a passion for creating great user experience. Successful applicants will have a strong ability to learn, combined with the tenacity to solve problems independently and a strong focus on the details required to create first-rate software.

SAP HANA is a global leader in high-performance mission-critical enterprise database systems and keeps growing as a core platform for enterprise data management and analytics. The HANA Cloud Database Kernel Team is one of the core and privileged teams for SAP HANA development, covering a wide spectrum of technology components. In this job, we are seeking a passionate intern who'll contribute to HANA's superior federation engine (called Smart Data Access or SDA) with highly skilled developers located in Xi'an, China. Possible contribution areas are (but not limited to) data management by federation and replication.

What You Bring
  • Student at university in computer science or related fields
  • Experience in SQL, Python, Git
  • Experience in C/C++
  • Responsibility, integrity, teamwork
  • Creative thinking, willingness, and ability to learn quickly new concepts and technologies
  • Qualifications for the role (please indicate if qualification is desired or necessary)
  • Can work for 3-5 days a week for at least 6 months onsite in Xi'an
