Senior Deep Learning Engineer, Speech AI Innovator

NVIDIA is a leader in the field of Artificial Intelligence and High-Performance Computing. We are seeking a highly skilled Speech AI Research Scientist to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge Speech AI product, Riva. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deep learning and speech processing, with experience in developing and deploying high-impact speech recognition and translation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop novel deep learning architectures for speech recognition and translation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate speech AI capabilities into Riva
  • Conduct research and development to improve the accuracy and efficiency of speech AI models
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software components for speech AI processing
  • Work with data scientists to design and implement data processing pipelines for speech data

Requirements:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience
  • Strong background in deep learning and speech processing, with experience in developing and deploying speech recognition and translation systems
  • Excellent programming skills in Python, with experience in frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques, with experience in speech recognition and translation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a fast-paced research environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GPU-based technologies such as CUDA and CuDNN
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with speech digital signal processing and feature extraction techniques
