Job Summary

Celanese Corporation is a global leader in the production of differentiated chemistry solutions and specialty materials. We are seeking an expert in engineering plastics to conduct field sales and customer development within a defined territory.

Responsibilities

Conduct field sales and customer development within the defined territory

Provide a key interface between customers and the company to develop Celanese's EM business in the covered region

Work closely with business planning staff and local technical resources to grow the business with existing accounts

Develop new customers in the region and move customer programs from concept to commercialization

Set clear goals and objectives, including sales targets for the covered territory

Develop knowledge and insight of major competitive threats, including competitor landscaping, market share analysis, and competitive material attributes to specific applications

Requirements

BS or higher degree in Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related majors

Good oral and written English skills

At least 6 years of commercial working experience in the plastic field, with knowledge of POM, PA, PBT, and PPS

Experienced in new business development and demonstrated leadership/supervisory skills in project management

Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to implement marketing plans and interact with customers and distributors

Problem-solving and results-oriented, with a willingness to business travel frequently
