About This Opportunity

This high-end architectural design role is an exciting opportunity for a senior design professional to join Gensler's architecture studio. As a senior design architect, you will be working on large-scale, high-end, and custom design projects, providing design leadership and delivering exceptional results.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with directors and team members on conceptual designs, presentations, and design development.
  2. Collaborate with the design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
  3. Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions.
  4. Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings as needed.
  5. Assist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination.
  6. Develop and manage projects' budgets.
  7. Coordinate with the technical team.
  8. Participate in business development efforts.

Your Qualifications

  • 12+ years of professional experience, including a proven track record of leading the design of large-scale projects, such as corporate headquarters, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
  • BArch/MArch or foreign equivalent, Architectural licensed.
  • Must understand trends in large, shell/core architectural design.
  • Possess a high level of visual and verbal communication skills and a high level of freehand and rendering skills.
  • Have the ability to mentor team members, offer guidance, and leadership.
  • Be capable of using 2D/3D software, including AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of the total project process, including fee and team management, schedules, and budgets.
  • REVIT is a plus.
