Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of this position is to architect and implement wireless solutions, including schematic and layout design for products related to WiFi, Bluetooth, WAN, GPS, Zigbee, and LoRa. Collaborating with cross-functional teams is essential to identify and troubleshoot any wireless challenges, ensuring optimal performance and readiness for mass production.

The successful candidate will engage in process enhancements, technology initiatives, and will have the opportunity to experiment with innovative ideas aimed at improving cost efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.


  • Collaborate within a project team to oversee the implementation of wireless technologies such as WAN, WiFi, and Bluetooth, focusing on optimizing wireless system performance.
  • Define wireless system performance and RF specifications based on device architecture and business models.
  • Design, simulate, implement, validate, and enhance RF circuitry, including schematic and PCB layout, while ensuring system performance meets expectations.
  • Engage with vendors and technology suppliers for the selection and qualification of key components.
  • Characterize RF test coverage, address system de-sense, and resolve EMI issues to meet established requirements.
  • Conduct simulations for RF design and de-sense mitigation.
  • Guide the product through development phases, compliance testing, operator testing, ramp-up, and ongoing support.
  • Assist with radiated manufacturing tests and address defects in production.
  • Enhance and refine defect processes across design, validation, and manufacturing stages.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with practical experience in designing and troubleshooting RF circuits and wireless systems.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in high-volume electronic design and manufacturing, particularly with WiFi and Bluetooth technologies.
  • Familiarity with wireless communication standards such as IEEE802.11 and 3GPP.
  • Ability to develop system and RF performance specifications along with associated testing requirements.
  • Proficient in wireless system requirements, RF circuit design considerations, and schematic design techniques.
  • Experience with CAD software like Cadence and simulation tools such as HFSS and CST.
  • Skilled in conducting simulations for RF design and de-sense mitigation.
  • Ability to characterize and troubleshoot de-sense and EMI issues.
  • Experience with multiradio coexistence mitigation, including RF link budget planning.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to bring product designs from concept to production.
  • Project management experience in technical projects.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity for high-speed interfaces.
  • Familiarity with compliance testing for FCC/CE and EMI standards.
  • Antenna design knowledge is advantageous.
  • Understanding of production control processes and data analysis techniques.
