We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at IQVIA, a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services to the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality projects using statistical and machine learning approaches, working closely with the team to understand client requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement across the workflow, developing new offerings and AI products.
  • Communicate technical concepts and analytical output to diverse stakeholders, including internal and external clients.
  • Own the delivery of projects from a technical perspective, working closely with consultants and other team members to deliver high-quality, robust insights.

Requirements:

  • Graduated degree or higher in a technical or scientific domain, such as Statistics, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or relevant experience in a technical/consulting environment.
  • Strong scientific programming skills in languages such as Python, R, SAS, SQL.
  • Knowledge of supervised machine learning methods, including regularized regression, ensemble tree-based models, support vector machines, and deep learning methods.
  • Basic knowledge of Natural Language Processing, including sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and named entity recognition.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to non-experts and write analysis plans for projects.
  • A proactive, innovative, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think critically and independently.
