Job Summary

Cerner Enviza is seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our Real-World Evidence business in China. As a Country Leader, you will be responsible for acquiring and servicing clients in the healthcare consulting space, with a focus on China and APAC markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scope the China market for potential business opportunities in Real-World Evidence and Market Access
  • Develop the Real-World Evidence and Market Access offer for potential local clients, working closely with the Cerner Enviza Regional and Global Team
  • Meet sales targets and drive growth for the Real-World Evidence and Market Access business in the identified markets
  • Exercise effective planning and research practices to understand client businesses, including strategic imperatives and growth strategies
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at clients, developing a trusted advisor status
  • Create multiple touchpoints with clients, building a portfolio of influencers and buyers
  • Internally, build relationships under the global ecosystem, providing leadership and support to those providing input to RFPs or working on client projects

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Public Health, Economics, Psychology, Outcomes Research, Pharmacy, or Health Economics; PhD preferred
  • 8+ years' experience in consulting or the Pharmaceutical industry in a research-based position, with experience in Real-World Evidence and Market Access
  • Understanding of the Health system policy and management in China and key regional/global markets, pharmaceutical industry, competitive environment, product development process, and market entry strategy
  • Business development experience, including research proposal writing, client relationship development, and delivering advice to high-profile clients
  • Demonstrated experience in critically assessing the value proposition of pharmaceutical products from the viewpoint of reimbursement authorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to describe complex scientific data to a non-technical audience
