About the Role

This position is to support the development of language applications, including system design, programming, unit testing, and system integration testing. This role may also mentor engineers/specialists for system development.

Key Responsibilities:


• Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements (20%)

• Assist the project owner in providing estimation and scheduling (10%)

• Draft technical specifications according to business requirements (40%)

• Perform programming and unit testing (10%)

• Fix system and integration testing defects promptly, deliver services with quality and within timeline (10%)

• Mentor and support information engineers for system development (10%)

• Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by the supervisor to meet operational and/or other requirements.

Requirements:


• Be professional in Computer Science or IT-related field.

• Be dedicated to related languages or platforms: Cloud platforms, Linux/Windows/Unix platforms, Web/mobile applications.

• 3+ years of experience in database and SQL (DB2 and Oracle, etc.).

• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Good command of both written and spoken English.

• Hard-working person and quick learner.

• Problem-solving skills.

• Experience in insurance is preferable.
