Senior Financial Planning and Product Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to strengthen HSBC's image as a leading wealth provider.
The ideal candidate will provide clients with access to advanced technical product expertise, and deliver internal training materials on portfolio strategy and investment product insights.
Responsibilities include delivering new investment product launches, translating product strategy to PWP, and supplying timely market and product updates to frontline teams.
The successful candidate will collect and apply market and channel intelligence to identify competitive gaps, service issues, business opportunities, and challenges with stakeholders.
They will work closely with the Investment Product Team and Financial Planning Team on new products, product enhancements, and improvements in customer experience.
Requirements:
University degree with honours in economics, finance, business, mathematics, or a related discipline
Minimum of six years of working experience as an investment counsellor or product specialist
Strong client skills with the ability to deliver a strong client experience and provide needs-based solutions
Deep knowledge of financial planning to provide wealth management advice to high net wealth customers including Retirement / Estate Planning / Family Trust
Extensive external market awareness of market conditions, new product solutions, and an understanding of current financial market activities
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Demonstrates ability to set stretch goals for self and the ability to deliver these with courage and tenacity
Excellent investment consultation and presentation skills
Obtained Fund Qualification from AMAC (preferred)
Fluent in English and Mandarin
