Job Title: Video Editor

Job Summary:

Belkin International is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our creative team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing video content created by our in-house creative team. The content you produce will be used across various digital platforms, including Belkin.com, social media, trade shows, and retail environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit video content using Premiere Pro and/or AfterEffects.
• Seamlessly composite 3D rendered content into live-action video content.
• Apply animations to 3D rendered content to achieve desired outcomes.
• Use track mattes to create transitions.
• Perform green/blue screen keying and rotoscoping.
• Motion track footage.
• Ensure all shots match the desired look and feel.
• Output videos in various file types and dimensions.
• Stitch individual shots together to form a cohesive video.
• Render and output final videos in various dimensions and file types.
• Manage files and deliver them to the correct teams and locations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing and VFX compositing trends, technologies, and tools.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Innovation Creative Group, and Innovation Design Group to incorporate feedback on product use and representation.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of experience as a Video Editor or VFX Compositor.
• Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience demonstrating ongoing professional development in animation.
• Expert knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Expert knowledge of VFX animation techniques and best practices.
• Ability to work in both PC and MAC environments.
