Join Ford Motor Company as a Senior Crash Safety Engineer and lead the development of platform architecture for crash worthiness and high voltage safety. This role requires expertise in safety design, testing, and CAE, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements for the North American and Chinese markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead platform architecture development for crash worthiness and high voltage safety to meet China and NA market requirements.
- Develop and implement safety CAE work using LS-Dyna to analyze safety requirements, ensure CAE modeling with best practice, and devise design solutions for any issues identified in analysis or testing.
- Enhance CAE testing correlation and develop continuous methods and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Ford global core teams on technique development review and program gateway report.
- Provide technical training in safety for general engineers and mentor new engineers and graduate trainees in safety and CAE.
- Minimum 6 years of work experience in safety design/test/CAE in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for crash worthiness and high voltage safety in the North American and Chinese markets.
- Expertise in safety CAE work using LS-Dyna and other CAE software.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
