History Instructor

We are seeking a skilled History Teacher for our international school in Qingdao. This is a full-time position that will start in the near future. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching our high school students.

Our school is an international boarding school located in Qingdao's Chengyang District. We follow the American Common Core system and provide Advanced Placement courses for our secondary school students. Our school encourages an English-speaking atmosphere to prepare our students for top universities worldwide.

Job details

• Teach history subjects to high school students.
• Prepare lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, design and correct assessments, and write report comments.
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve our school-based curriculum.
• Assess and monitor students' progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant teaching subject.
• Teaching qualification.
• At least two years' relevant teaching experience.
• Familiarity with American Common Core and/or AP curriculum will be beneficial.
• Excellent English communicative skills.
