Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new electrical solutions for escalator control systems
  • Update existing electrical solutions to improve performance and reliability
  • Improve existing electrical product designs
  • Support the reliability plan and verification of escalator electrical control systems
  • Support failure case analysis of electrical systems
  • Provide technical support to other KONE departments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the elevator and escalator industry
  • Experience in system field commissioning and modifying prototypes according to design changes
  • Fluent user of AutoCAD and E-plan, and familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Good English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical interfaces
  • Knowledge and experience of using statistical tools for solving technical problems
  • Good willingness to work in a lab, factory, or site, with hands-on mode if required
  • Creative thinking and independent problem-solving capability
