Junior Metabolomics Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Metabolomics Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive business growth in Metabolomics and small molecular applications including pharma, TCM, and food and environment.
• Collaborate closely with our commercial and technical support team to develop solutions and provide customer training and support.
• Support and collaborate with KOLs for frontier application development.
• Collect competitor solutions and communicate with our commercial and BU teams.
• Publish application notes to support our local and global mass spectrometry business.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or above in Proteomics or Metabolomics, Analytical Chemistry, or Biochemistry, pharma, TCM, or food and environment.
• Hands-on experience with LC-MS techniques for omics applications, at least 3 years of experience in Metabolomics/pharma/food and environment applications/method development related to the LSMS product line.
• Experience with Triple Quadrupole and High Resolution Accurate Mass Spectrometry instrumentation is desirable.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to travel, with approximately 30% or more of business trips.
