Job Summary:

Our Client is looking to appoint a Senior Engine Performance Integration Engineer. This position will be responsible for the civil aircraft engine performance integration design, analysis, and verification. The role requires at least 10 years of experience in the field of civil aircraft powerplant systems, as well as prior experience working with other civil engine or aircraft manufacturers. Candidates should possess expertise in engine performance integration design, having participated in areas such as engine thrust requirement definition, aircraft and engine thrust management design, in-flight thrust determination and verification, and engine operating characteristics.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct civil aircraft engine performance integration design, including thrust requirement definition and validation, thrust management plan development, engine thrust characteristic analysis, aircraft-engine performance matching, and other related work in performance integration design.
Carry out test and verification for civil aircraft engine performance integration design, covering development of test methods for in-flight thrust tests and engine operating characteristic tests, test execution, test result analysis, and other associated tasks.
Ensure the design meets requirements for aircraft performance, aircraft operation, engine operation, airworthiness, and more.
Analyse route issues related to powerplant system performance integration and develop corresponding solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
Master's degree or above in Aircraft Design, Aero-engine Design, Aeronautical Engineering, or related disciplines.
At least 10 years of professional experience in civil aircraft powerplant systems.
Prior work experience at other civil engine or aircraft manufacturers.
Proven expertise in engine performance integration design, with hands-on involvement in areas such as engine thrust requirement definition, aircraft-engine thrust management design, in-flight thrust determination & verification, and engine operating characteristics.
Good command of English for technical communication Mandarin Chinese skills are a plus.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a multi-disciplinary team.Initial contracts of 1-3 years offered with potential to extend. Candidates should be prepared to live and work in China for 1- 3 years initial contract
