Job Description

  1. Understand Supply Chain, Sales & Operations Planning (including production planning and scheduling), and IBP business processes, understand business needs, lead thoughtful design discussions and provide solution proposal to support these processes.

  2. Providing best fit solution to design production planning and scheduling process, based on standard SAP IBP functionality.

  3. Provide best practices in IBP

  4. Work in supply chain planning projects. Able to help clients develop end-to-end supply chain planning capability, such as demand management, supply planning, order fulfillment and logistics planning. Familiar with at least one supply chain planning IT tool

  5. Support industry solution architects to develop consulting service proposals for the supply chain topics above

  6. Support conceptual design for digital solutions by working together with BearingPoint internal technology team as well as external solution providers in the above areas

  7. Facilitate BearingPoint marketing activities in manufacturing or retail sectors by preparing marketing content, coordinating with marketing business partners and organizing marketing events to promote the consulting brand

  8. Develop consulting skills and capabilities for BearingPoint service delivery teams in relevant topics

  9. Key clients include world famous Automotive OEMs, Automotive suppliers, Chemical and Industrial Equipment Manufacturers

10.Typical ongoing / future consulting projects include digital supply chain strategy and implementation, supply chain sustainability, network planning and etc. with opportunities to work in cross functional project teams formed by strategists, sales and marketing experts, data analysts, supply chain IT experts and etc.

Qualifications

  1. More than 3 years of full-time work experience in supply chain management

  2. Subject matter expertise in Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Demand Planning, Supply planning, inventory planning, Sales & Operation Planning processes preferably with at least 1 end to end implementation experience with a client facing role.

  3. Experience in 2 or more functions (planning, procurement, logistics) is preferred

  4. Industry experience in Automotive or other manufacturing sectors is preferred

  5. Proficient in both Chinese and English language skills
