Servo Engineer

Wuxi Servo Engineering's primary mission is to provide technical solutions to enable hard disc drive yield, quality and reliability through developing new firmware test or controller features. The team also serves as a critical HDD Systems role, working closely with and enabling other functions in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Recording Technology, Tribology, Customer Interface and Manufacturing. This role will report to a Senior Engineering Manager. 

●    Work in a team that develops and deploys technologies (control, signal processing or embedded firmware) to meet the high-density tracking, performance, and reliability requirements of hard disc drive
●    Work on failure analysis and deploy technical solutions into high volume manufacturing, ensuring high product quality, reliability, production yield and short test time
●    Work closely with the design functional groups in the US and Singapore to solve critical product issues and leverage new technology
●    Provide high level support to product engineering team and quality/reliability team in Wuxi
●    Support a drive or technology development program through complex code tasks, test development, or leadership of sub-projects

●    Knowledge and skills in any of these areas - Dynamics, Electronics, Signal Processing, Controls, Embedded Firmware, Mechanical Design will be beneficial in this role
●    Good Matlab, C programming or python skills
●    Accomplished lab skills, including operation of oscilloscopes, data collection tools, and data analysis techniques are all skills that will be beneficial in this role.
●    Proficient in English speaking and writing
