Basic Functions
Th is position willbeaccountablefordevelopingandimplementinggovernmentaffairs strategies that help protect, build and enhance Kohler's reputation and support commercial objectives with influential groups and organizations. In this role he/she will develop and implementcommunicationsstrategiesthatreinforceKohler'sleadershiponpriorityissueswith external target audiences.

Specific Responsibilities
Specific responsibilitiesincludebutarenotlimited to:

Ø Developandimplementgovernmentaffairsadvocacyplansfor Kohler.

Ø Beontopoflocaleconomicandsocialissuesandbuildstronggovernmentrelations with local regulators to well position Kohler Co. and support issues management efforts.

Ø ProtectandenhanceKohler'sreputation,workingcloselywithregional,businessand cross-functional leadership

Ø Developandimplementacommunityrelationsplanandcrisiscommunicationsystem for all present and future manufacturing facilities in China adding value to production function by reducing government opposition and maintaining a positive atmosphere in which to operate.

Ø Supportdepartmentheadswithissueanalysesandcrisis management.

Ø Establishandmanageeffectiverelationshipswithgovernmentrelationsandexternal agencies.

Ø Ensure that all government affairs activities developed and implemented are fully coordinated and integrated with other communications strategies and activities, and thatthesearecommunicatedacrosstherelevantregionalandcorporatedepartments

Skills/Requirements
Ø Bachelor'sdegreeincommunicationsorrelated disciplines

Ø Minimum10years ' Experienceincommunicationsfield(governmentrelations,advertising, Journalism) In China
Ø Abilitytothinkandactstrategically,withdetailorientationandcapabilityinmulti- tasking

Ø Stronginfluencingandnegotiating skills

Ø GoodcommandofEnglish, Mandarin
