We are looking for a Science Teacher for an international school in Guangzhou. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

About the school

This is an international school accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA-CESS), the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), Cambridge IGCSE, College Board.

Job responsibilities

  • Teach the subject of IGCSE Science, DP ESS, Chemistry and Biology and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
  • Teaching certificate
  • Two or more years teaching experience in the subject in higher education
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Good understanding of teaching in IB context
