CompanyQualcomm ChinaJob AreaEngineering Group, Engineering Group > Software EngineeringGeneral SummaryJob FunctionQualcomm's Gaming group is seeking an experienced engineer to utilize and develop solid game optimization and graphics debugging tools to create best-in-class experiences for the Snapdragon chipset.ResponsibilitiesWork with ecosystems and OEM partners to optimize gaming experience for Snapdragon with Snapdragon tools.Work with ecosystems and OEM partners to provide tools for efficient graphics debugging and profiling.Develop game profiling and frame debugging tools for the China market.Skills/ExperienceMinimum Qualifications2+ years of professional experienceSolid knowledge C/C++Solid knowledge of OpenGL, DirectX, or VulkanUnderstanding of game engine/graphics rendering pipelinesStrong CPU and GPU performance analysis skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivatedWillingness to travelPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with 3D graphics profilers and debuggers such as RenderDoc, Pix, NSight, Perfetto etc.Familiarity with commercial game engines such as Unreal, and UnityExperience developing, profiling, and optimizing games on Android or Windows platformsExperience developing, profiling, and optimizing modern rendering algorithmsExperience of working on GPU driver, 3D Gaming or OpenCLEducation RequirementsRequired: A BS engineering or computer science related fieldMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.ORMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
