Application Service Delivery Manager, CBGT Consumer Finance

Job Objective To drive the successful development, implementation, and ongoing management of consumer finance applications for DBS China, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and external customer experience. This includes leading the entire application lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders for strategic alignment and innovation, ensuring adherence to China's consumer finance regulations, enhancing customer experience through intuitive and secure applications, managing application performance and reliability, driving the adoption of new technologies, and effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders.Principal Responsibilities 1. Deliver the services of consumer finance to business to improve customer experience, optimize processing and support bank transformation including: * * Work with tech PMO and business to align the priorities of all initiatives and perform the resource planning including the internal tech staff and external vendor staff.* Analyze the requirements raised by users and regulators.* Be responsible for system design including writing the FSD.* Review the deliverables in development stage including the code scanning report and code review report.* Prepare the SIT plan and make sure all upstream and downstream systems are involved for system integration testing.* Support for UAT/regression testing and responsible for settling the environment issues as well as the bug fix identified in UAT.* Production deployment and LV arrangement.2. Take the role of Squad Lead for consumer finance to ensure timely and qualified delivery within planned budget including cross department collaborations, escalations, performance review and necessary guidance on squad members.3.
Take the role of SDM(service delivery manager) to ensure the proper vendor management based on bank's policy for outsourcing vendor management including contract renewal, site visit, SLA review, incident and change review etc.4. Proactively drive end-to-end system capacity review to ensure sufficient system capability to support business growth.5. Proactively identify the risks and manage the risks to mitigate impact on internal users, external customers, regulatory and financials. 6.
Follow group strategy to ensure system resiliency, delivery speed, innovation and cost effective.Education and Relevant Experience* Bachelor degree majoring on Computer Science, or relevant majors.* Minimum 10 years of software development experience in banking industry.* Minimum 3 years of team leader experience.* Familiarity with consumer finance business and having the experience on partner onboarding for consumer finance.* Solid technology experiences on services delivery to business including the architecture and solution design, code review etc.* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.* Outstanding communication skills in both English and Chinese, able to bring clarity and efficiency to stakeholders in different business units and supply units. Extensive experience collaborating with business units and managing project delivery in large financial institutions or technology companies.* Experience in vendor management and outsourcing management, with an understanding of relevant financial industry regulatory requirements (e.g., IT outsourcing risk management).* Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.* Demonstrated good understanding of technology risk management including risk identification, assessment and mitigation measures.
