Why We Are Recruiting

We are seeking an Partner Success Specialist (Account Manager) to join our Beijing Representative Office. This role will be responsible for managing and deepening engagement with Partners in the Greater China region, with a specific focus on the Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains (AMSC) industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain ongoing engagement and ensure retention with AMSC Partners by building and sustaining relationships with Partner Representatives in the Greater China region.
  • Collaborate with teams from the Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains to ensure effective and seamless Partner involvement in AMSC initiatives, and maintain and expand active engagement within the AMSC community.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic engagement plans for AMSC Partners in cooperation with the Business Teams, Centre Teams, and Global Industry groups.
  • Coordinate and deliver Partner participation at Forum events, including registration, agenda preparation, speaking roles, and logistics, in collaboration with the Business Team.
  • Support cross-center goals in ecosystem growth, sustainability, skills development, and multilingual outreach, including biotech, healthcare, and industrial cluster initiatives.
  • Manage Partner integration and experience across the Forum's digital platforms and tools.
  • Monitor and analyze activities of AMSC Partners and their respective regions—such as announcements, partnerships, sustainability reports, and leadership changes—to identify engagement risks and opportunities.
  • Support opportunities to strengthen and expand Partner relationships in close coordination with the Business Team.

Key Success Criteria

  • Build strong relationships with Partner Representatives and align engagement plans with both business priorities and relevant regional and sectoral trends.
  • Monitor retention and engagement metrics, proactively managing outcomes and following through on action plans.
  • Champion a "One-Forum" approach by facilitating internal collaboration among Centre Teams and Business Teams to deliver a cohesive and impactful Partner experience.
  • Enhance community building and initiative engagement within the AMSC sector.

Preferred Requirements and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. A background in Engineering, IT, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering is a plus.
  • 2 -5 years of experience in a client-facing capacity, such as account management, business development, consulting, project management, or similar roles.
  • Experience or a demonstrated passion for manufacturing, materials, or clean energy technologies is a highly preferred.
  • Strong cultural fluency with both Chinese and international business environments.
  • Proven success in key account management and strategic relationship development, including engagement across diverse business units.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both Mandarin and English, including verbal, written, and presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a complex, matrixed organization, demonstrating collaboration, structured follow-through, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Digital proficiency and a strong understanding of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Service-oriented mindset combined with entrepreneurial drive and a collaborative approach.
  • Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
