  • Advise front office on business risk topics including client risk profile, product suitability and selling process requirements in compliance to the local regulatory regime and internal guidelines
  • Conduct transaction monitoring and other surveillance reviews to identify and assess potential risks for escalation, recommendation and rectification.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders including but not limited to Compliance, Front Management & Support, COO office, Audit etc. to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and create business synergies.
  • Work on management reports, data management and thematic reviews
  • Participate in projects related to systems, new initiatives and regulatory updates
Requirements
  • University graduate, with at least 6-8 years of experience in Private Banking Business Risk Management. Candidates with more experiences will be considered as Associate Director.
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal communication and time management skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding on HKMA / SFC regulatory requirements for Private Banking business and investment products
  • Proficiency in MS Office. MS Power BI / Tableau, Avaloq knowledge and experience will be a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin.
