Principal Software Engineer

We are looking for a hardworking, intellectually curious individual to play the role of a Principal Software Engineer, to design and implement innovative tech solutions for complex business problems.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the design and development of software solutions.
• Write, test, and maintain high-quality code in programming languages.
• Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure robust and scalable software systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of high-quality products.
• Drive innovation and excellence in software engineering practices.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of software systems.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

What You'll Bring:

Technical Skills – Required:

• Java Programming: Strong experience in Java development and testing frameworks.
• Database Programming: Solid understanding of SQL and PL/SQL, with hands-on experience in database programming.
• Ab Initio: Practical experience using Ab Initio software for data processing.
• DevOps Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Terraform.

Soft Skills – Required:

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of financial markets.
• Familiarity with agile development practices.
• Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience in ETL and data analysis is a strong plus
