Deloitte's Operations Transformation team applies deep sector knowledge and technical business operations consulting experience to take a more strategic view of our client's priorities, helping them to prepare for growth, embrace digital agenda, optimize costs and maximize operational efficiency.  This includes:

 

• Transforming business operations to take advantage of disruptive business models and establish new capabilities that foster and catalyze future growth
• Focusing on working with clients to reimagine, redesign and digitalize their business processes in order to achieve improved efficiency, customer experience and impact
• Delivering complex transformation programs through best in class tools, accelerators and methodologies to scope, manage and reduce the risks of delivery, and ensure longer term benefits can be delivered and sustained

• Perform underwriting assessment on both medical / non-medical cases within approval limits to ensure the underwriting decision complied with company's rules and guidelines
• Establish the related procedures and write up rule and guideline
• Assist the Team Lead to identify opportunities for process and workflow improvement, initiate ideas to streamline manual process to uplift service level; and provide necessary guidance and support to Junior Officers/Assistants 
• Undertake or assist in projects as assigned by the Team Lead
• On-the-job training will be provided progressively for skills development in insurance operations

• Degree holder in insurance discipline or relevant professional qualification, with 5-10 years' relevant working experience in Life insurance
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong insurance products, compliance requirements and good underwriting skills
• Underwriting Authority with medical substandard rating; professional qualification in Life Insurance including FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute) is preferred
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team; ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure with a high attention to detail and quality
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese (in Cantonese and/or Mandarin), with ability to read and write English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Chinese word-processing and other relevant PC skills
