We are looking for a General Science Teacher for an international school located in Beijing. This is position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026.

This international educational institution is located in Chaoyang District of Beijing. It has top-notch facilities, including a sports arena suitable for tournaments, arts classrooms, science labs equipped with the latest technology and an 800-seat theater. The school offers a combination of the national curriculum and the IB (International Baccalaureate) Philosophy to its students in elementary, middle and high school. This blend of curricula provides a strong foundation of subject knowledge and cultivates learning abilities and thinking skills.

Job responsibilities

  • Teach the subject of general science to lower grade secondary school students utilizing the IGCSE framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students' progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
  • Teaching certificate
  • Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
  • Excellent communications skills

  • Monthly salary of 30,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate on experience and qualifications
