Range of Responsibility:
Responsibility of a part of whole vehicle and function based development targets for one vehicle project, incl. assuring the integration of all platform and module parts into the whole vehicle.Realization of a technically balanced whole vehicle matching development cost targets (AWS), functions, maturity degrees/releases, technique, technical regulations and environmental compliance.Assuring respective technical solutions as well as escalation into product committees of target deviations or lack or compensation possibilities.Responsibility for reaching the project KPIs (main focus concerning development cost, material cost, timing, milestones, processes and procedures,…) as well as TE releases.Key Tasks:
Planning, operative steering and following up of whole vehicle and function related development targets: cost and unit cost, functions, maturity releases, techniques, quality, legal requirement and environment requirements for one vehicle project.Steering to reach R&D related project targets. Preparation for product team decisions in alignment with R&D process partner, R&D technical departments and product management.Request and follow up of requirements to respective platforms, close collaboration with Technical Project Steering in VW group.Definition and follow up of vehicle requirements. Ongoing brands and region overarching alignment and conflict solving within the R&D process.Define and release measures in case of target deviations; decisions in technical areas overarching conflicts; announcementof risks, and realize measures for operative management.Ongoing brands and region overarching alignment and conflict solving with R&D areas, users in the group, platform developers. Alignment of teams/area overarching technical topics (e.g. TPB, module, platform, integration of adaption content, developing carry over parts).Represent R&D in product committees and leading technical committees (TK/TG).Consolidation and plausibility of development costs.Manage project development cost and facilitate to decision documents.Qualification and Skills:
Engineering Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar.Over 3 years of working experience at least in automotive industry, preferable working experience in OEM level.1-2 years work experience in technical project steering, project speaker or product management.Broad knowledge and well-founded technical understanding in relevant topics in theory and practice.Work experience in international vehicle development project or technical team is a plus.Work experience in VW group is a plus.Vehicle professional knowledge.Project management knowledge (time management / planning / monitoring).Deep understanding of automotive development processes and procedures.Good presentation and communication skills.Good skill for information sorting and analysis, good team player.Good technical and business language skills in English (written and spoken).German is a plus.-
