QualificationsThe successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following criteria: Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM>5 years of product design experiences (Hardware, Firmware or Mechanical).At least 2 years as a Project Design Leader, Product Owner or Technical Lead.Some Experience in OEM/ODM/ brand labelling contract manufacturing is mandatory.Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.Proven experience in working with teams based in multiple geographies.Be a result-oriented team player. Leader & self-motivated.Excellent Mandarin Chinese and English communication skills, both oral and written.Additional Nice to Have SkillsBacNet and Modbus experience will be highly appreciated.Experience in Smart buildings application (HVAC, Lighting, etc.), and in hotel solutions will be highly valued.Good understanding of product development life cycle (Agile methodology, Integration testing etc)Digital Buildings is an innovative and fast-growing Line of Business in the Energy Management division of Schneider Electric providing cutting-edge IoT solutions & products for the smart buildings of tomorrow. You will be working with agile cross-functional delivery teams that consist of firmware developers, electronics design engineers, mechanical engineers, product architects, and manufacturing/industrial teams.We are searching for self-driven, passionate Project Design Leader to provide design, test, validation, failure analysis and manufacturing support for our OEM/ODM and in-house designed products (Focus on Thermostat, Hotel solutions and Sensors). The Project Design Leader will work closely with the engineering team and the Project/Offer Manager to ensure the design Job description:Represent the R&D team as a single point of contact for the offer.Follow Schneider Electric PMP/PEP process.Work in R&D team to develop new products.Champion the development process, this would include but not limited to the following:Create, prioritize, and communicate with team members the platform backlog, release targets, user stories, and roadmap.Periodically review critical quality issues and associated mitigation plans.Cooperate with team member in China, North America, and Europe on a regular basis.Follow Schneider Electric design process and deliver the design documents with high quality on time.Coach and mentor junior team members and new hires.
