Job Description SummaryIn this role, you will be responsible for developing and leading a team of professionals and providing HR Operations support to GE Vernova businesses while focusing on enterprise standards, compliance, customer experience/satisfaction and standardization. This role will also develop solid relationships with key stakeholders to maintain operational performance through leveraging metrics and trends and identifying areas for improvement.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead HR Operations processes in the region, such as: employee transactional support, mass transactions, complex organization reorganizations, employee data management, employee lifecycle management, HR systems help desk, problem escalations, etc., ensuring high standards of accuracy and quality are maintained. And ensure compliance with relevant legal, country regulation and GE Vernova policy requirements
  • Drive strong performance management in the team through clear expectations, priority setting, frequent touchpoints, and feedback
  • Ensure teams are appropriately aligned and relevant Subject Matter of Expertise is in place to deliver on organizational strategy
  • Foster a "one team" environment with your team members as you mentor and coach them to grow their impact and collaboration within the business
  • Monitor operational performance leveraging metrics, proactively identify and act on any trends or problems to maintain and improve performance levels for assigned process. Apply subject expertise in evaluating business operations and processes
  • Manage 3rd Party HR Operations Service Providers to ensure seamless, compliant, and high-quality HR Ops services
  • Proactively identify and drive continuous improvements within assigned processes, work closely with cross functional teams to proposing process improvements to reduce waste, manual work, align to global standards and increase productivity
  • Work with global/local process leader, other key function stakeholder/partners and vendors to manage business requirements and global initiative, and ensure on time and high-quality deliverables including but not limited to M&A, disposition, supplier transition, work placement
  • Drive a culture of customer service excellence within the team, develop strong working relationships within client HR, cross functional teams, vendors, ensuring effective communication and early identification of requirements and service issues, including follow-up on service issue escalations
  • Drive GE Vernova's high standards of ethics and compliance within the team
  • Manage budget to drive continued cost effectiveness
  • Other task assigned by manager

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related Business degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in HR operations including employee data, life cycle management, HR system help desk or related work experience in providing operational oversight for HR operations in China mainland, Hongkong and Taiwan
  • Significant prior professional work experience with demonstrated achievement in HR Operations wing-to-wing processes and projects delivery, ideally within a multinational organization with proofing experience in People leadership
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English in both verbal and written
  • Travel will be required, as needed, to support the team and customers within the region
  • To be successful in this role, you will need to have the ability to work in a complex and rapidly changing work environment across multiple stakeholder groups and countries, with comfort and efficiency

  • Experience working with outsourced service providers
  • Experience in Lean management
  • Sound project management skills, strategic thinking ability, process capability and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver results by supporting activities from concept to implementation
  • Solid understanding of applicable regional legislative programs/processes; Comprehensive understanding of and ability to assimilate regulatory and compliance
  • Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify and present the creative/collaborative solutions in partnership with action owners
  • Strong communication skills: ability to influence with immediate team and across organization
  • Strong customer service focus, with the ability to anticipate customer needs with a high level of responsiveness
  • Ability to make independent decisions and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-task and highly matrixed environment, and connect effectively with business stakeholders
  • Proficiency in HR systems (ex. Workday) and related HR technologies
