Job Description

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Administrator to join our infrastructure team and play a key role in building, automating, and supporting our cloud platforms. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership and mentorship, ensuring our environments are reliable, scalable, and aligned with modern DevOps best practices.

As a senior member of the team, you will drive automation initiatives, design CI/CD pipelines, and strengthen our Linux-based systems and cloud-native capabilities. You will also support peers by sharing knowledge, guiding best practices, and helping the team adopt automation-first approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automation & CI/CD: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) to streamline deployments, testing, and infrastructure provisioning. 
  • Infrastructure as Code: Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools to ensure consistency and repeatability. 
  • Cloud-native Operations: Deploy, maintain, and optimize containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, integrating them into existing private cloud and OpenStack environments. 
  • Linux Administration: Manage and optimize Linux systems (Ubuntu, CentOS/RHEL) with expertise in networking, storage, and virtualization to ensure secure and stable operations. 
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Act as a senior reference for DevOps practices, mentor team members, and foster adoption of automation and modern delivery practices. 

Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business needs.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in DevOps, System Administration, or Cloud Engineering roles.
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) and automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Solid experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Advanced Linux administration skills, with strong understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization.
  • Experience working with OpenStack or other private/public cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to lead by example, coach peers, and foster a culture of automation and operational excellence.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in an international team environment.
