About You:

What you'll do and what success looks like in this role:

• Extract, transform and analyse data from various structured and unstructured sources to enable and support business decision-making.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify key questions, and translate them into analytical approaches and actionable insights.
• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for business units, enabling performance tracking, trend analysis, and strategic planning.
• Provide first line support for local data issues, maintain best practices for data management and provide support where necessary for the data projects.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, facilitating clear communication, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment on data-driven initiatives.
• Support data governance practices including data cleaning, data quality assurance and documentation. Ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms.
• Design and maintain data dictionary documents. Identify and maintain data owners and stewards of the company's information assets.
• Collaborate with the Tech team in creating technology platforms across Data Lake / Data Visualization / Data Analytics Solutions.
• Proactively identify business challenges and opportunities, using data to propose solutions and support strategic decisions.
  

What is required and what we're looking for:

• 2 years of experience in a data analyst role
• Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Excellent SQL skills and solid understanding of database structures and data modeling
• Proficiency in Python or R and its application in data analysis
• Experience with big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Data Lake) and data warehouse development.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to business strategy and operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and compelling way.
• Self-driven, proactive, eager to learn and grow, can-do attitude in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently and strategically, open to tackling new issues and sounding out new ideas
