My client is a global well-known private equity firm focusing on logistic, industrial estate. Now it is expanding it's business on new energy sector(wind power and energy storage segments).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of investment layout for core tracks in the new energy sector, with a primary focus on wind power and energy storage segments.
  • Cover photovoltaic-related extended businesses, and be responsible for the sourcing, screening and pipeline building of both industrial-related investment and equity investment projects.
  • Lead or deeply participate in due diligence (DD) for investment projects; conduct comprehensive analysis on project's industry prospects, business model, core competitiveness and financial performance.
  • Be responsible for valuation modeling, transaction structure design and investment proposal drafting of investment projects; drive the full process of project initiation and investment decision-making; coordinate internal and external resources to resolve key issues during project advancement.
  • Participate in post-investment management of portfolio companies; track project operation status; assist invested enterprises in addressing key challenges in their development process; identify subsequent value-added service opportunities and follow-up investment prospects; ensure the preservation and appreciation of invested assets.
  • Continuously monitor policy dynamics, technological iteration, market trends and competitor landscape in the new energy industry (including wind power, energy storage, photovoltaic, etc.); establish an industry research framework; deliver high-quality industry research reports to provide professional support for the company's investment decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above from renowned domestic or overseas universities; majors in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Energy-related fields are preferred; possess a solid educational foundation.
  • Work Experience: 3-8 years of relevant work experience in real estate funds or new energy funds; must have practical experience in both industrial-related investment and equity investment projects within the new energy field (with emphasis on wind power and energy storage); possess in-depth understanding of the operating model, profitability logic and key risk control points of the heavy-asset industry.
  • Background Preference: Candidates with backgrounds in real estate funds or new energy industry funds are given priority.
  • Core Competencies: Possess strong project sourcing capability, due diligence capability and logical analysis ability; be proficient in valuation modeling techniques; have abundant industry resource pool and be able to quickly connect with high-quality projects and core contacts in the new energy field; demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills, team collaboration ability and capacity to work under pressure; be capable of efficiently promoting the full process of investment projects.
