We are looking for a Physical Education Teacher for a bilingual school based in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

About the school

The school is situated in the Yizhuang district of Beijing and provides bilingual education. It combines the best aspects of Eastern and Western education philosophies. It offers a comprehensive education program from Early Childhood to Upper Secondary, catering to both local and expat children. The courses from Grades 1-9 are in accordance with the Chinese National Curriculum and prepare students for overseas universities.

Job responsibilities

  • Teach physical education PE to all students across the school, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
  • Teaching certificate
  • Two or more years teaching experience in the teachable subject
  • Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

  • Monthly salary of 28,000 to 38,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Monthly housing allowance of up to 8,500 RMB
  • Medical health insurance and Chinese Social Security Insurance

  • Fully paid Summer and Winter holidays
  • Salary as the gratuity after completing two years contract
  • Up to two childrens 100% tuition fee subsidy is provided
  • Entry flight ticket is reimbursable, RMB10,000 middle contract flight allowance, RMB5,000 exit flight allowance.
  • Visa application related documents authentication fees, visa fees, medical check fees, enter China tests fee are reimbursable
  • Annual professional development allowance of 5,000 to 8,000RMB
