Hardware Design: 1 Create and maintain a complete design document set for the project. 2 Initiate design FMEA, Reliability Study, Failure Tree Analysis, Safety Hazard Analysis. 3 Pilot component FMEA 4 Write Technical Specifications. 5 Write a Purchasing Technical Specification for new components. 6 Others required in Hardware development process. Hardware Verification : 1 Verify the design concept. 2 Write test plan & perform tests. 3 Analyze test results and write test reports. 4 Support vehicle integration tests. 5 Create 8D Reports if needed. Hardware Production : 1 Participate in the industrialization of the product. 2 Make and verify choices in product design in compliance with process capability. 3 Support Industrialization, Manufacturing and Purchasing team regarding hardware. 4 Select component in order to reduce component multiplicity in project and with other projects. Others Support prototypes as required by the Design Leader.
