Job Description
Job Summary: Drive trusted, actionable insights for CHK and global markets. Lead Power BI

solutions, partner with global teams, and reconcile CHK legacy data with global SAP to ensure

accurate, enterprise-ready reporting.

Primary Responsibilities

• End-to-end Power BI delivery: requirements, modeling (DAX/M), visualization, testing, deployment.
• Insights from Direct Sales, POS, CRM, and industry data to improve growth and profitability.
• Validate/reconcile CHK legacy vs. global SAP (ECC/S/4): mapping, matching logic, automated checks, exception handling, variance analysis, sign-offs.
• Support global analytics projects: align standards/KPIs, plan/test/roll out, drive change and adoption.
• Build reliable semantic models; standardize KPIs and data dictionaries.
• Design executive-ready dashboards and clear narratives.
• Optimize performance (query folding, aggregations, incremental refresh, DAX tuning); fix refresh/gateway issues.
• Governance/security: RLS, workspaces, certification, lineage, usage monitoring, access

controls.

• Integrate data from Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Lake, Analysis Services; on-prem via gateways.
• Establish a cadence of core insights/reporting; ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Partner with commercial/marketing/finance; present recommendations.
• Uphold data quality, privacy, and compliance; contribute to catalog/metadata.
• Mentor analysts; enable self-service; promote standards and best practices.
• Track progress, risks, outcomes; contribute to roadmap/backlog.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS, IS, Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related.
• 5–8+ years in analytics/BI/data management; 3–4+ years Power BI development.
• Strong Power BI (DAX, Power Query/M, modeling, RLS, pipelines).
• Strong SQL; ETL/ELT knowledge.
• Proven cross-system reconciliation and exception handling.
• Sales/marketing analytics experience; convert needs to measurable outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Global matrix and customer-facing experience.
• SAP data (SD/MM/FI/CO); BW/4HANA or SAC a plus.
• Azure data stack (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Lake, ADF) or equivalent.
• Power BI tools (Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, ALM Toolkit), REST API, embedding, tenant admin.
• DevOps, Git, CI/CD for BI assets; Python/R; SSAS/SSRS/Tableau/Qlik.
• Fluent Mandarin and English.
